These are the updates added to Diocese and Cathedral websites during August 2020. These are applied automatically to the websites.
Civic UK Cookies Notice
This was the voted solution for Dioceses and Cathedrals to use for ensuring visitors have a choice if a cookie is dropped by the website. It is easy to integrate and there are free and paid for versions to choose from.
Sign up to Civic UK Cookie Notice - enter your web address without www (ie domain.com rather than www.domain.com)
To turn this on login to Global Office and got to Settings > Options and go to the Cookie Notice section and select Use Civic UK Cookie Notice.
Select the version you chose (Community or Pro) NOTE: if you are using a subdomain (ie diocese.anglican.org) you MUST select Pro Edition.
Enter the API Key you received as part of the Civic UK Cookie Notice sign up.

Church Edit does not drop any cookies (except in Global Office as a functional requirement for editors updating the website). If you have Google Analytics or any embedded widgets (MailChimp, Facebook, Twitter etc) then these are likely to drop cookies.
Increased File Size
Following the migration of most of the websites over to AWS, the maximum file upload size has been increased to 50MB.
